Department of Computer Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering)

Department of Computer Engineering came into existence in 2011. The first degree program offered by the Department was B.E. (Computer Engineering) in affiliation with NMU. The Department of Computer Engineering is an excellent department with well qualified and experienced staff. The department is enriched with laboratories. Students are trained in computer programming for engineering applications to meet the industry challenges. The department offers a 4 year course.

Faculty at Computer Engineering believes in open interaction with students who are encouraged to participate in academic, research and extra-curricular activities.

Activities
Department takes lead for the enhancement of technical skills of the students for overall development. This association conducts inter-departmental, intra departmental fests which include cultural and technical activities. The students are given inputs on personality development and soft skills. Our faculty members are members of professional body like ISTE & CSI. The faculty also attends programs conducted by Engineering Institutes. The department has a tradition of organizing seminars, workshops and conferences for both students and faculty from time to time.

Achievements
The department attracts talented students; the students are encouraged to participate in different technical competition, paper presentation, technical projects & so on. The faculty members have presented many research papers in leading journals and conferences. Participation in various such activities results in developing creative skills and confidence significantly. It will also act as encouragement to take up developmental work in later years.
